Wreaths, Wreaths, and more Wreaths

Family and medical issues, both mine and others, have occupied a lot of my time over the last couple years. So any sustained creative work has taken a back seat for a while.  Recently, the situations have stabilized somewhat so I have been able to devote more time to creative endeavors, and it was just in time since we are heading into the holidays.

If you've been to my blog before, you know that pinecone wreaths are a favorite for me.  My tutorial outlining my technique has been very popular.

Some previous posts with wreaths I created are here and here.

Some of those wreaths have been sold but some are still listed in my shop.

Here's a few new wreaths just born in the last month.

These two are now listed in my Etsy shop:

I created this Fall wreath for my sister's apartment door at her assisted living facility. It's a little more casual look, with softer colors and a chalkboard sign.

These two wreaths sold to friends before I was even able to post them.

I have a very large artificial evergreen wreath that hung on my front porch for the holiday season for several years.  I got a little tired of the same look,  so last Christmas I changed it up completely ... and I fell in love with it!

Loved it so much so I made a few more this year.

Here's a little different take.

I'm happy to say that these also sold before I could list them.  Mind you, I'm not complaining!

I'm still working on a few more, getting back to the more traditional red/green colors.  So stay tuned - hopefully I can get those posted in the next few days.

  1. How much do you sell them for? Love the pinecone wreaths.

    1. Hello!
Thanks for your kind comments. The wreaths sell for different prices, depending on size and time invested in creating them. Please visit my etsy shop to see all of the wreaths I am selling. The section "All Occasion Wreaths" on the left hand side has 20 wreaths listed, with more to be added soon for fall and winter. Thanks again!

  2. Hello your wreaths are Beautiful, but I have long pine cones how do I arrange them or can you break part off. I am going to try to do something with them.

    1. Thank you for the compliment! I know the pine cones you are referring to but I don't have too many of those in my neighborhood. I made Christmas ornaments with them many years ago, though. I would suggest that you use them whole plus place them sideways on your wreath form. Are you on Pinterest? if you do a search for wreaths you will see many examples using those long cones. I tried posting one here but it won't let me do that. If you contact me via my email I'll be happy to send you some photo examples. Thanks for visiting.!
