New (Old) Tins

I just listed three more vintage tins in my More Bright Ideas shop.

This tin is just gorgeous.  Kind of a brownish burgundy with gold  design.  The floral motifs all the way around are really delicate and detailed.  The tin itself has an unusual shape - it's a little hard to tell from the photo, but it sort of bubbles out toward the bottom then straightens out again.

This tin is an Easter-themed tin.  It's covered all over with a design consisting of vines, florals, and colored Easter eggs.  The best part is that it includes a music box that plays the classic song "Easter Parade."  Very cute!

This tin is lovely.  I believe it's a Christmas theme, with the angels all around.  The entire tin is embossed metal in gold and silver and has a hinged lid.  The brand is Teleflora from West Germany.

Working on some recycled frames today.  I hope to post those very soon as well.  Busy-busy!

  1. I found a gold and silver tin wth angels on it the same as the picture you on this page. Can you tell me what it was used for? How much is it worth. Thanks

    1. Hi Robin, I had that tin for a long time. I'm quite sure it was an empty tin when I received it so I don't know what it was used for originally. I can tell you that I sold mine in my etsy store in 2013 for $18.00. I just did a quick check and if you do a search on Ebay you'll see several for sale at different price points. Thanks for visiting.

I'm interested in what you have to say. Join the discussion:
